Music Magazine: Final

Update on Front Cover

My front cover is lacking a cover star at current, as my booking for the photography studio was overrun by a lesson being held there. This means I may have to go without a black backdrop, which is unfortunate, but I have been told I can use Photoshop to edit my background black. My next photoshoot will be tomorrow morning.


I'm using Illustrator to make my Coverlines, Skylines, etc. I copy them, then paste them in Photoshop.

Music Magazine Update 2.0

I managed to do a photo shoot in the TV studio. I am pleased with the shots and my teacher has approved them, too. I'm not too sure about the cover at the moment, but will be having another shoot next Tuesday with a white backdrop, so I'm keeping my options opened. I am changing the the masthead from black to white as it stands out better, however depending on how next week's shoot goes, I may change it back to black (if I choose to have a white backdrop as the cover page.)

This is my Cover and Contents Page at the moment. I'm still processing both.

Masthead

Working on my masthead using photoshop. I thought this would make more sense as dafont.com doesn't allow the user to copy and paste the font. This is why I am using the Quick Selection Tool to cut out the font from it's background and drag it to a blank page, which will be my front cover. 

White Backdrop Photoshoot

I tried to get my models to bring in clothes that would suit my genre. Some props used include sunglasses and playing cards. With the cards, I tried to create a falling effect with them. It wasn't very successful...
